Tea Leaf Green @ Satellite Ballroom in Charlottesville - Thursday, April 18, 2008
Last night I caught Tea Leaf Green in Charlottesville and it was a lot of fun. I have wanted to see these guys for awhile now, primarily because of the fact that they seem to share many festival bills with some of my other favorite bands. I had not listened to much of their music. In fact, I just downloaded a show from ‘07 last week to get a small sneak preview. Well, I left the venue last night wanting a whole lot more. I will definitely see these guys again - very talented musicians with a unique sound; kind of a cross between Traffic and The Allman Brothers.
A random complaint about the Satellite Ballroom: Please get a better beer selection on tap. The selection blows, but I do like the Red Stripe and Yuengling bottles.
