Get Some Halloween Goodness in the Butter Room
Stick to the Butter Room all week as we plan to give away a “basket full” of tickets to see Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Duchess of York, Kings of Belmont, the Travis Elliot Band, and Gunchux, all on Halloween, all in Charlottesville. Two shows, one night - all for free!
Robert Randolph and the Family Band is playing the Charlottesville Pavilion with Duchess of York opening. After the show, walk over to Rapture to catch Kings of Belmont, the Travis Elliott Band, and Gunchux.
All you have to do to enter is leave us a comment between now and Halloween that includes the term, “Give me the Halloween Goodness”, on any post (including this one) about one of the following artists:
We will be posting mp3s and videos from these artists all week long, leading up to Halloween.
Please note that you must be 21 years of age to enter.
Best of luck. We will pick winners at random, but lean towards those of you with the most original comments. All winners will be notified via email, no later than the morning of the 31st. If you aren’t lucky enough to win tickets, you can purchase online for the Robert Randolph show here. -

What is The Butter Room?
The Butter Room was built to spread and discuss live music. The contributors of this site all volunteer their time to provide the content. We do this as a labor of love. Our name, The Butter Room, references an small, low-lit room in a Virginia Tech Fraternity with nothing but a few benches and tables. You go there to get away from all distractions and have a conversation, which is what we want to foster here: a place where you can get away from all the distractions of life to enjoy and discuss live music.
