Meatstick > Cities > Walk Away - Phish
06.29.00 - PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, NJAs requested, we cap off Phish Friday with one of the great Meatsticks. This medley has it all, including an improvised verse in ode to Pete Carini (and his lumpy head, of course) who chases several fans off stage during the song, a guest appearance by Page’s wife for the Meatstick dance, and a Japanese lyrics singalong. The Cities that follows throws a shout out to Tokyo, where the Meatstick dance has (apparently) eclipsed the Macarena fad.

What is The Butter Room?
The Butter Room was built to spread and discuss live music. The contributors of this site all volunteer their time to provide the content. We do this as a labor of love. Our name, The Butter Room, references an small, low-lit room in a Virginia Tech Fraternity with nothing but a few benches and tables. You go there to get away from all distractions and have a conversation, which is what we want to foster here: a place where you can get away from all the distractions of life to enjoy and discuss live music.
