6.1.07 - Fridays After Five, Charlottesville Pavilion - Charlottesville VACharlottesville’s annual spring/summer tradition, Fridays After Five, begins this Friday. Free live music and not-so-free cold beer that occurs every Friday after work from April to September at the Pavilion. For those of you not in Cville, I hope there is a similar event getting underway this weekend in your town as well.
Here is an old favorite of the Blum brothers playing Fridays two years ago. Indecision is usually good for one Fridays a year.

What is The Butter Room?
The Butter Room was built to spread and discuss live music. The contributors of this site all volunteer their time to provide the content. We do this as a labor of love. Our name, The Butter Room, references an small, low-lit room in a Virginia Tech Fraternity with nothing but a few benches and tables. You go there to get away from all distractions and have a conversation, which is what we want to foster here: a place where you can get away from all the distractions of life to enjoy and discuss live music.
